Rejecting Love

People do not understand what they reject when they reject Christ. Even many Christians do not fully understand what they get when they receive Christ.

Luke 23:34a: Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

People who reject Christ reject love. They subject themselves to hate. They reject the ability He gives to truly love. They subject themselves to their own natural ability which is to hate. They reject God. They subject themselves to Satan. They reject a Good Master. They subject themselves to a cruel master. They reject life. They subject themselves to death. They reject blessing. They subject themselves to harm.

They reject the greatest abundance. They subject themselves to the worst kind of poverty. They reject deliverance. They subject themselves to snares. They reject forgiveness. They subject themselves to condemnation. They reject heaven. They subject themselves to Hell. They reject joy. They subject themselves to misery. They reject peace. They subject themselves to conflict. They reject perfect guidance. They subject themselves to confusion.

They reject wisdom. They subject themselves to foolishness. They reject a gift. They subject themselves to what they can earn. They reject the supernatural. They subject themselves to impotence. They reject the most valuable thing. They subject themselves to worthlessness. They reject everything that is good. They subject themselves to everything that is evil.

They reject security. They subject themselves to uncertainty. They reject mercy. They subject themselves to an awful justice. They reject fellowship. They subject themselves to loneliness. They reject a relationship with God. They subject themselves to a relationship with Satan. They reject beauty. They subject themselves to ugliness. They reject glory. They subject themselves to the unattractive. They reject fullness. They subject themselves to emptiness.

They reject contentment. They subject themselves to dissatisfaction. They reject completeness. They subject themselves to inadequacy. They reject perfection. They subject themselves to flaws. They reject God*s acceptance. They subject themselves to His disapproval. They reject sufficiency. They subject themselves to shortage. They reject a caregiver. They subject themselves to a destroyer.

They reject God*s righteousness. They subject themselves to their own sinfulness. They reject God*s strength. They subject themselves to their own weakness. They reject the eternal. They subject themselves to the temporary. They reject servanthood. They subject themselves to slavery. They reject freedom. They subject themselves to a prison. They reject paradise. They subject themselves to torment.

Aren*t you glad you received Christ?
